With more than 30 years of diverse industry and functional experience, Elizabeth is an established compliance and risk management expert who can communicate and impart complicated situations and concepts covering risk and regulatory compliance management. She understands difficult organizational problems, provides concrete solutions and leadership for the full scope of business risk and compliance processes. Her expertise includes regulatory compliance management, program management, risk assessments, risk mitigation, regulatory affairs, enterprise risk management, redesigning business processes, financial institutions operations, and retail bank management. Before joining Spinnaker, Elizabeth served as the frontline risk and control leader of Public Affairs at Wells Fargo. Her responsibilities included executing the compliance and risk programs across Public Affairs to drive alignment, efficiency, and effectiveness. Additionally, she has held various senior-level positions for financial institutions, state banking associations, and consulting firms and is recognized as a highly regarded industry resource by several national trade publications.
Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Elmhurst University and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. Elizabeth and her husband recently became empty nesters and relocated to North Carolina from the Chicago area. They now reside outside Raleigh, NC. Elizabeth has a passion for horseback riding and exploring all North Carolina has to offer.
