We recently sat down with Richmond Times-Dispatch’s John Reid Blackwell to talk about Spinnaker Consulting Group and what landed us at #516 on this year’s Inc. 5000 list — our 850 percent growth over the past three years. The Inc. 5000 is Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately held businesses in the U.S., measured by revenue growth.
Blackwell’s feature article titled “Growth in data analytics, focus on experience, helps Spinnaker Consulting sail onto Inc. 5000” was just published this week, and got top billing on the front page of its Metro Business section.
The article focuses on Spinnaker’s history of growth, including how and why we started the firm, our leadership backgrounds in the military and corporate America, and what makes our hands-on, roll-up-our-sleeves consulting approach different than traditional consulting firms. It also briefly touches on our expansion from financial services into healthcare, and our growing practice areas: risk and compliance, capability delivery, and data and analytics — the fastest-growing of the three.
The article is a terrific way for people to learn more about who Spinnaker is and what we do, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share our story of growth as well as our recognition on the Inc. 5000.
